Mensae,meaning the table, is a constellation in the Southern Celestial Hemisphere near the south pole.
Mensae was created in honor of Table Mountain, a South African mountain overlooking Cape Town.Table Mountain features in the mythology of the Cape of Good Hope, notorious for its storms.
Table Mountain is an Angry Giant Greek God Called Adamastor.The angry, hostile and vindictive giant who suffered from some kind of inner turmoil and who wouldn’t allow anyone to pass through the rough seas of the area.
